About This Project
It didn’t take long for me to find and fall in love with the incredible dining experience that is FIN. It’s as if the authentic Asian simplicity of Katsuya has been betrothed to the fare of Koi, then transported to the relaxed pace of the west side. The service is friendly and on point, and, “Alley”, their little speakeasy in the back, is the perfect place to end a glorious meal. (I also did a follow-up session at Alley, which you can view in my portfolio.)
The sessions were delicately performed in about seven hours over two days while the kitchen operated during regular business; all of the food was for REAL customers. It was not touched by me, and was minimally staged due to time constraints. I did my best to stay out of the staff’s way and work quickly so that customers were not left waiting for their food to arrive.
