Hello!
I’m not sure how you found me, but I am so glad that you did!

To sum up, I design and develop websites that look great on phones, tablets, and computers, and that are very easy to maintain. I use a CMS (content management system) to enable my customers to make changes and updates on their own after we publish. I am also fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I like to use color and imagery to help business owners and artists convey their message to visitors, existing and potential. I am also well-versed in e-commerce websites through the use of WooCommerce/Paypal.

I help people use social media and content to their advantage. I can instruct nearly anyone on best practices for web maintenance, social media, hashtags, and SEO.

I am also a photographer who specializes in portraits and headshots, food/cocktail photography, interiors and exteriors for real estate, still life photography, and in photo retouching using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. Have passport, will travel!

On the personal side, I am a California native, born in the early 80’s, and a lover of 90’s music. I am most creative when the sun goes down and into the early morning hours. I love sunset naps in my backyard hammock, traveling abroad, snuggling my three two rat terrier pups, and sipping a glass of wine in the evening. I know all of the words to “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” by Tupac and Snoop Dogg. “Two Princes” by Spin Doctors is also a fav. The first car I ever bought for myself was a black 1998 Ford Mustang GT with black leather interior, and I miss it like the dickens. I’d consider myself adventurous, but not necessarily brave. I am a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Francisco Giants, even when they suck. I enjoy being on the beach, but I’ve only been in the ocean twice four times (once on a snorkeling dive in Catalina when I was 10 years old; once in Malibu; in a hot spring in the Aegean Sea off of Santorini, Greece, and most recently on a snorkeling trip to Paradise Island in Dominican Republic). I also love sushi and cheesecake.

My core values are honesty, compassion, and forgiveness. I think it’s more important to listen than it is to speak. When it comes to ideas: give me an inch, I will give you a mile. I prefer to arrive early, and I believe that the entire world is a glorious opportunity to learn.

If you’re down, I would LOVE to work with you! Let’s talk about your ideas.

Whatever your needs (with a few exceptions) I am available as a professional photographer for hire in the Southern California area, as well as for travel. I frequent places in the continental US such as Arizona, Nevada, Missouri, and the entire Northwest. I also travel internationally to places like Europe, Canada, and Mexico. I can shoot digital, 35mm, some digital HD Video, and I do all of my own image editing and retouching.

My rates are dependent upon style and method of photography, hours/season, images delivered, and do not include the additional cost of travel in excess of 20 miles, physical prints or shipping. I am available for some TFP, but not with regard to portraits or interiors & exteriors – no exceptions.

This typically includes photography for real estate, architecture, design/editorial, or hospitality, and may include twilight photography.

Though I am capable of performing these sessions in natural light, I do also bring an off-camera handheld fill flash for multiple exposure method, and to reduce dramatic shadows, if necessary.

For me, as a photographer, “People” includes corporate portraits, headshots, and the occasional editorial or lifestyle shoot. I prefer natural light for these sessions.

I do not currently shoot family portraits or weddings.

Somewhat self-explanatory sessions with some staging; typically involving low light and a narrow depth of field. Can be performed in multiple locations with customers in your establishment for your convenience and to reduce cost/product loss.

Multiple backgrounds; artificial light; various depths of field. This may include some staging of the item and any additional accessories, depending on the desired result.

While I’d love for you to hire me for travel photography, most of my business in this category comes from photo prints and watercolors after my trips, unless the session accompanies any of my other additional photography/web design services.

More for pleasure than business, my outdoor still life photography is performed at all times of day, in multiple locations, with natural light and minimal equipment. These photographs are available as prints, or can be added on a la carte to an additional service.

Some additional types of photography are available; a la carte or build a package by combining services.

Photographs in my “Travel” and “Outdoors” portfolios are available for purchase as prints in a variety of sizes.
